Here's a P2P identity & reputation system blueprint. Happy to answer questions or explain parts that seem unclear.

Just going to drop this here once and pin it in the hope of preventing myself from spamming any of you nice people in the future. :)

There's only one right side of history, and that's the non-authoritarian one.

"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love have always won. There have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they can seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall. Think of it--always."

looking at this I had the thought:

"what if gravity was an emergent property of space somehow due to the reduced degrees of freedom from massive objects taking up more information on a holographic plate in a given region"

after googling I found this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Entropic looks like there are similar ideas

I am not a physicist so it's cool to see that my thoughts might not be completely crazy.

At 2021-01-29 at 21:35 UTC Google suspended #Element from the Play Store without warning or notification.

Element is a generic chat app for connecting to the global Matrix communication network, just as Chrome is a generic web browser for connecting to the Web - and just as #Google does not control the content on the Web, Element does not control the content on #Matrix.

Anyone know of a way to establish private communication channels between LN nodes without setting up a channel via on-chain tx? Does this exist already? Should be possible, right?

It look like the major (open-source) torrent clients are pretty old projects. Only qBT is still in very active development, the others are on life support

I won't let them make everything stupid, if it's up to me.
